Kathmandu, Nepal, June 10, 2026: The Nepal Olympic Committee held a meeting to prepare for Olympic Day, which is celebrated annually around the world on or around June 23.
The preparation meeting was held at the NOC HQ, Satdobato, and was attended by representatives of national sports federations.
It was led by Mr. Ashok Ratna Bajracharya, Chairman of the Olympic Day 2026 Organising Committee and Vice President of Nepal Olympic Committee.
Representatives from various national federations shared their ideas, programmes and plans for the Olympic Day celebration, scheduled to take place from June 18-23.
The meeting focused on making the celebration more engaging, inclusive and impactful through different sports and community activities.
