AINAGOC announces ticket pre-sale opening for public

Nagoya, Japan, June 9, 2026: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee has announced that ticket pre-sales for the general public is now open.

 

The pre-sale period began at 10am local time on June 9 for certain sports: Athletics, including the marathon, water polo and sailing.

 

AINAGOC stressed that the public could only buy tickets in this pre-sale if they had already registered for a ticket “Cheer ID” by 5pm on Friday, June 5. 

 

“Big chance to get your tickets ASAP,” AINAGOC said.

 

“Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you have a competition you're after, get in quick!

 

“The email address you signed up for in your support ID has received a special URL to purchase tickets. Get tickets and support this historic moment.”

 

AINAGOC has held a series of ticket pre-sales in recent months for the 20th Asian Games, which will take place from September 19 to October 4 with 43 sports, 71 disciplines and 469 events.

 

Tickets for the public will go on sale later this month.

 

The 100-day countdown ceremony to the Asian Games will be held on Thursday, June 11 (2pm to 8pm), including a guest appearance by official supporters MYERA – the all-girl J-Pop group.

 

The torch for the torch relay, the celebrity runners on the first day and the medal design will also be revealed during the ceremony, which will take place at Midland Square B1F Atrium Event Space in the presence of Aichi Prefecture Governor Hideaki Ohmura and Nagoya City Mayor Ichiro Hirosawa.
