Singapore, June 7, 2026: Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong China and Oman have sealed their places at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games men’s cricket competition.
The four teams finished in the semi-finals of the Asian Games Qualifiers in Singapore to secure their tickets to the continental showpiece from September 19 to October 4 in Japan.
Nepal and Malaysia finished 1-2 in Group A which also included China. In Group B, Hong Kong China and Oman finished 1-2, ahead of Bahrain and Singapore.
The four qualifiers will join Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka who all qualified automatically as they are ICC full members.
The 10-team competition at the 20th Asian Games will be rounded off with the inclusion of hosts Japan.
India is the defending gold medallists.
