Draw conducted for 2026 Asian Games Esports League of Legends qualifier

Kuwait City, Kuwait, June 5, 2026: The draw for the 2026 Asian Games Esports League of Legends qualifier was conducted today, sorting 14 teams into four groups ahead of the competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

The draw resulted in the following lineups:

  • Group A: Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates
  • Group B: India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka
  • Group C: Hong Kong, China, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia
  • Group D: Laos People's Democratic Republic, Mongolia, Vietnam

 

84 athletes will gather in Malaysia from June 12 to 14. A total of six teams will emerge from the qualifiers, punching their tickets to Aichi-Nagoya.

 

 

They will be joined by the Republic of Korea and Chinese Taipei, the gold and silver medalists from the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games who have secured direct qualification. Together, these eight teams will compete for the League of Legends medals at the 20th Asian Games, which will run from September 19 to October 4.
