Hong Kong, China, June 4, 2026: The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) will host the 2026 Olympic Day/Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run on Sunday, June 28 at Hong Kong Science Park.
The Olympic Day celebration honours the IOC’s annual Olympic Day on or around June 23 and aims to promote the Olympic spirit.
As one of the SF&OC’s annual flagship events, this year’s Olympic Day will feature the special addition of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run, designed to build excitement ahead of the Asian Games and rally public support for Hong Kong athletes competing from September 19 to October 4.
SF&OC invites the public to take part in this sporting occasion, with limited spots available and registration closing on Sunday, June 7.
As one of the National Olympic Committees recognized by the IOC, SF&OC has organized Olympic Day annually since 1987 to commemorate the founding of the IOC and to promote the Olympic values within the community.
This year’s event continues under the theme “Run with Hong Kong Athletes” and features three categories: the 4km Individual Run, the 2km Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run and the 2km Family Fun Run, offering options suitable for families and participants of different ages. Alongside the runs, a variety of sports experiences and game booths will be available, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy and celebrate Olympic Day together.
Participants who complete the run will receive a pack of commemorative finisher gifts, and will also be able to enter the lucky draw with their bib number for a chance to win prizes worth a total of over HK$230,000.
