Pakistan holds OCA Fun Run in Lahore to herald 20th Asian Games

Lahore, Pakistan, June 3, 2026: The Pakistan Olympic Association staged the 20th Asian Games Fun Run at Lahore College for Women University.

 

The Fun Run was organised by the POA in collaboration with the OCA and the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games Organising Committee and brought together athletes, students, sports officials and the wider community to celebrate the values that lie at the heart of the Asian Games – friendship, unity and a shared passion for sport.

 

OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam addressed the large gathering through a special video message where he underscored the role of the Asian Games in fostering friendship, cooperation and unity across Asia.

 

POA President Arif Saeed in his address thanked the OCA, AINAGOC, the Lahore College for Women University and all other partners for helping host the Fun Run.

 

Also addressing the crowd were AINAGOC representative Hiroshi Sakai and Anthony Al Tahech from the OCA.

 

A total of 45 National Olympic Committees will send their elite athletes to the September 19-October 4 continental showpiece in Japan which will feature 43 sports, 71 disciplines and 469 events.
