Jordan targets youth as FIFA 2026 World Cup is broadcast across Kingdom

Amman, Jordan, June 2, 2026: Jordan’s Ministry of Youth announced on Monday, June 1, that it will broadcast the national football team’s historic participation at the FIFA World Cup on giant screens in three cities across the Kingdom in addition to screening all tournament matches at 60 youth centres nationwide.

 

Minister of Youth Raed Adwan said the initiative reflects the Royal directives and vision supporting young people and sports, as well as the efforts of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in promoting sports and supporting Jordanian fans.

 

The designated viewing venues for Jordan’s matches will be the Arena Hall at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman, Aqaba Youth City and the Gymnasium Hall at Al Hassan City in Irbid.

 

Jordan, who will be appearing for the first time at a FIFA World Cup, is grouped with defending champions Argentina, Algeria and Austria.

 

The tournament in the US, Canada and Mexico commences on June 11.
