Palestine Olympic Committee says Raja Randhir’s passing is ‘great loss’ to Olympic Movement

Jerusalem, Palestine, June 1, 2026: The Palestine Olympic Committee has written to the OCA Community to extend their “deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy” to the OCA and to the family, loved ones, friends and colleagues of Raja Randhir Singh.

“His passing is a great loss to the Olympic Movement and to the Asian and global sporting community. We join the OCA family in mourning this loss and in honoring his memory with respect and gratitude for his lifelong service to sport.

“At this difficult time, we stand in full solidarity with the Olympic Council of Asia and all members of the Asian sporting community who share in this grief.

“May his soul rest in peace, and may his family, the OCA community and all who knew him find strength, comfort and peace in the days ahead.”
