Thimphu, Bhutan, May 27, 2026: The Bhutan Olympic Committee has posted a tribute to Raja Randhir Singh on social media.
“On behalf of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Raja Randhir Singh, Honorary Life President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Honorary Member of the International Olympic Committee, and former President of the Olympic Council of Asia.
“He was a respected and admired figure in the Olympic Movement, whose lifelong dedication to sport and to the values of Olympism touched countless lives across Asia and beyond. His leadership was marked not only by vision and commitment, but also by humility and genuine care for the sporting community.
“We mourn his loss with deep sorrow and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. His legacy will continue to live on in the spirit of sport he so strongly believed in.”
