In a letter dated May 27, 2026, NOCC President Dr. Thong Khon and Secretary General Vath Chamroeun sent a message of condolence to the family of Raja Randhir Singh, the Indian Olympic family and the OCA.

“On behalf of the leadership and entire sporting family of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, we wish to express our deepest condolences and profound sorrow on the passing of Raja Randhir Singh, OCA Honorary Life President, Honorary IOC Member and former OСА President.

“Mr. Singh was not only an exceptional leader of the Asian Olympic Movement, but also a truly respected and admired figure whose lifelong dedication to sport greatly contributed to the development and unity of sports across Asia.

“As President of the Olympic Council of Asia and a distinguished five-time Olympian in shooting, he devoted his life to advancing the Olympic spirit and uplifting athletes and sporting institutions throughout the continent.

“Asia has lost one of its finest sports leaders and visionaries. His wisdom, humility, kindness and unwavering commitment to the Olympic values left a lasting impact on generations of sport administrators, athletes and officials, including all of us who had the honour and privilege of working directly alongside him over the years.

“His remarkable contributions and tireless efforts toward the advancement of Asian sport will never go unnoticed nor forgotten. We will always cherish the memories, guidance and friendship he shared with the sporting community.

“During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, friends and the entire Asian sporting community. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
