Kathmandu, Nepal, May 27, 2026: The Nepal Olympic Committee is deeply saddened by the passing of Raja Randhir Singh, Honorary Life President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Honorary Member of the International Olympic Committee and former President of the OCA.
“A towering figure in Asian sport, he dedicated his life to advancing the Olympic movement across the continent. His leadership, wisdom and kindness touched many nations, including Nepal,” the NOC posted on social media.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Olympic Council of Asia, his family, friends and the entire Olympic family across the world.
“May his noble soul rest in eternal peace.”
