Andrey Kryukov appointed interim Secretary General of NOC Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, May 20, 2020: The Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation, Andrey Kryukov, was appointed interim Secretary General of NOC Kazakhstan by the order of the President of NOC Kazakhstan, reports Olympic.kz.

On May 6, Saken Mussaibekov, who previously held the post of Secretary General, was appointed Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan. Thus, Andrey Kryukov will perform the duties assigned to him until the next General Assembly of NOC Kazakhstan.

Andrey has been Vice President for International Cooperation of NOC Kazakhstan since 2015. In addition, he is also a member of the FINA Bureau, a member of the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), a member of the Medical Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), a member of the Rules Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Vice President of the Asia Swimming Federation (AASF).
