Nagoya, Japan, May 19, 2026: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) will use the event to promote the whole of Japan – with the help of accredited media.

AINAGOC will push the boat out to make sure all of Japan will benefit from the hosting of the 20thAsian Games from September 19 to October 4.

This will be achieved by the offer of free media tours around the country – on the condition of reporting/broadcasting tourism information.

The second World Broadcasters Meeting on Tuesday, May 19 heard that city tours in Aichi-Nagoya and the surrounding areas will be available by bus, on either a half-day or full-day arrangement.

The destinations include Ghibli Park famous for manga, Toyota Automobile Museum, Kiyosu Castle, Inuyama Castle and a Nagoya Port Night Cruise, as well as other tours taking in calligraphy, tea ceremony and pottery.

On top of this, AINAGOC will also provide two-day/one-night trips further afield: Hokkaido, Iwate, Miyagi, Niigata, Shimane, Ehime, Kochi, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Toyama, Fukui, Nagano, Mie and Shiga.

Accredited media will be able to book the tours through a dedicated website nearer the Asian Games, with the proviso that they report/broadcast the beauty and attractions of Japan.
