Riyadh 2026 AIMAG reschedules NOC visits to host city

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 10, 2026: The Organising Committee of the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Riyadh 2026 has announced that the programme for National Olympic Committees to visit the host city has been rescheduled.

 

In their third newsletter for May 2026, the organising committee informs NOCs that the visiting period will now close on September 15, 2026, having opened on June 1.

 

The visits will take in meetings with requested functional areas and tours of the Athletes’ Village and competition venues. The organising committee asks NOCS to book their visits at least six weeks in advance to assist with the visa process.

 

The latest newsletter also provides details of the Chefs de Mission Seminar set to take place from June 23-24. The itinerary takes in presentations by more than 20 functional areas over the course of two sessions and venue tours of the Athletes’ Village and Boulevard Riyadh City, as well as one-on-one meetings.

 

The newsletter reports on the successful online meetings of Technical Delegates from 16 sports and the OCA on April 6-8 and informs NOCs that plans and preparations are going smoothly.
