AIMAG Riyadh 2026 introduces new CEO

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 8, 2026: The organizing committee of the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Riyadh 2026 has a new Chief Executive Officer - Moneerah Alsudairy.

 

The new CEO is introduced in the AIMAG 2026 Newsletter #3 for May 2026, which also provides details of the Chefs de Mission Seminar on June 23-24 as well as other key dates for National Olympic Committees.

 

“The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Moneerah Alsudairy, who steps into this pivotal role as we enter a critical phase of our preparations,” the newsletter reports.

 

“As part of this transition, Ian Reid will move to the RAIMAGOC Executive Committee and continue to advise on the Games. 

“While this marks a new chapter in leadership, Moneerah is a familiar and trusted presence within the AIMAG family. Having previously served as Deputy CEO, she brings a strong understanding of our operations and a deep commitment to the successful delivery of the Games.

“Her transition into this role ensures continuity in our progress, while reinforcing our focus on delivering a well-coordinated and exceptional games.”

 

RAIMAGOC adds that Moneerah has played a key role in advancing preparations and strengthening collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

“Moneerah brings a clear and focused vision, grounded in experience and a dedication to excellence. Under her leadership, the Organizing Committee will continue to build on its momentum as it navigates the complexities of this final stage of preparations,” the article concludes.

 

The 6th AIMAG will open on December 13 and close on December 21. There will be 18 sports, 25 disciplines and 122 events.
