Oman to compete in 11 sports at 4th GCC Games in Doha

Muscat, Oman, May 5, 2026: The Oman Olympic Committee has announced that the Sultanate will be represented in 11 sports at the 4th GCC Games Doha 2026 from May 11 to 22.

 

The announcement was made on Monday, May 4, during a meeting attended by representatives of the national teams, along with administrative, technical and media delegations.

 

The 11 sports Oman will compete in are: athletics, aquatics, basketball (women’s 3x3), bowling, billiards and snooker, fencing, karate, taekwondo, table tennis, shooting and volleyball.

 

The GCC Games will bring together elite athletes from the six GCC nations – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates – who will participate in 19 sports.
