Sanya, China, April 30, 2026: The Olympic Council of Asia hosted a coordination meeting for safeguarding officers at the Asian Beach Games Athletes Village on Thursday morning.
The meeting was attended by 25 National Olympic Committee Safeguarding Officers/advocates representing 18 NOCs and discussions focused on safeguarding before, during and after multi-sport games.
Led by the OCA’s Safeguarding Manager, Sabine Fakhoury, the attendees exchanged experiences and best practices with the aim of enhancing and developing safeguarding efforts in future games.
