OCA Young Reporters featured in Hainan Broadcasting Group interview

Sanya, China, April 28, 2026: The Hainan Broadcasting Group conducted an interview with OCA Young Reporters Zaynab Kawtharani (Lebanon) and Hana Al Dayyat (Jordan) on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The interview took place at the Hangzhou Garden Studio within the International Broadcast Centre on the sidelines of the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026.

The session brought together the OCA Young Reporters in a controlled studio environment, where lighting setups, camera positioning and production coordination reflected a high broadcast standard.

Conducted in English, the interview followed a smooth and structured flow, with presenters maintaining clarity and engagement throughout while allowing participants the time to fully develop their responses.

Zaynab and Hana entered the session with confidence, focus and a clear sense of excitement. That mindset aligned naturally with the tone inside the studio, where the interviewers’ approach stood out through their attentiveness and welcoming presence. Their strong command of English and ability to guide the conversation created an environment that encouraged openness rather than pressure.

The atmosphere inside Hangzhou Garden Studio played a central role in shaping the experience. Despite the formal production setting, a sense of comfort was evident, allowing answers to come across naturally rather than rehearsed. Questions were given space, and responses were received with attention, contributing to a more genuine exchange.

Professionalism extended beyond the technical setup. It was reflected in the way the interaction unfolded through timing, respect for each response and the willingness to give participants the space to express themselves without interruption.

Certain reflections captured the meaning of the moment.

Hana emphasized the importance of mindset, noting to “appreciate every opportunity as if it is the last.”

Zaynab highlighted persistence as a defining value, stating, “Be stubborn with your dream and remain resilient through hardships.”

Both perspectives extended beyond the interview itself. They reflected a stage of growth not only as young reporters but as individuals stepping into broader responsibilities. Representing Lebanon and Jordan under the platform of the Olympic Council of Asia carried a sense of pride that was present throughout the experience.

Leaving the studio, the moment did not register as a conclusion, but as progression. The interview marked a step forward, signaling movement toward something greater, both professionally and personally.
