Sanya, China, April 26, 2026: His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, crowned the top three finishers in the women’s 4 x 60m relay at the 6th Asian Beach Games on Sunday, April 26.
The medal ceremony was also attended by Mr. Kwan Kee, Council Member of Asian Athletics.
Thailand won the gold medal with an outstanding performance, while the Philippines secured silver and China finished third to take the bronze medal in the Beach Athletics competition at Phoenix Island.
H.E. Sheikh Joaan congratulated the winners on their achievement, praising the high technical standard displayed by the athletes and the spirit of fair competition that reflects the Olympic values uniting Asia’s athletes. He also commended the efforts of the Organising Committee in delivering a successful continental event.
