Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, April 17, 2026: The Mongolian National Olympic Committee is powering forward with its OVEP initiative – spreading the Olympic Values Education Programme around the country.
The latest district to receive OVEP was Chingeltei, in the north part of Ulaanbatar.
The President of Mongolia NOC, IOC Member Battushig Batbold, met with district officials, PE teachers and coaches in primary schools to introduce OVEP and lay the framework for implementation.
The Governor of Chingeltei district, Manduul Nyamandeleg, was also in attendance.
The meeting addressed teachers’ needs and discussed suggestions and opportunities for future collaboration.
OVEP will be implemented in Chingeltei district schools in the near future and the parties will work together to establish an Olympic Hall and promote student club activities.
