Kuwait, 17 April 2026: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) confirms that Mr. Adil Hussain of Pakistan has committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation during the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022, China.
The OCA has delegated responsibility for results management to the International Testing Agency (ITA), which handled the case on its behalf.
The violation followed an Adverse Analytical Finding for 19-norandrosterone (19-NA). A substance prohibited at all times and classified as a Non-Specified Substance under S1.1 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) of the 2023 to2025 WADA Prohibited List. The athlete accepted the violation and waived his right to a hearing.
Decision:
- Disqualification of all results at the Games
- Forfeiture of Bronze medal, points, and prizes
The case will be referred to the Kabaddi International Federation for any further action.
The OCA reaffirms its commitment to clean sport and fair competition.
