Sanya, China, April 12, 2026: No gold medals will be more fiercely contested than beach kabaddi at the 6th Asian Beach Games from April 22-30.
The kabaddi venue for men’s and women’s competitions is located at the Sanya Bay Haiyue Square Venue Cluster, 8km from the Athletes Village.
Competition begins on April 23 and closes on April 27, with the women’s final at 10am and the men’s final at 4pm.
A spectator stand of 600 seats will enable the audience to get close up to the rough-and-tumble action of kabaddi – a tough sport with no room for the faint-hearted.
The women’s competition is for athletes up to 75kg, and the men’s is up to 85kg.
