One Asia Crew steps up preparations for Asian Games

Nagoya, Japan, April 11, 2026: Volunteers play a large part in the success of any international multi-sport event – and the 20th Asian Games 2026 organising committee intends to have a well-trained team on hand for the September 19-October 4 showpiece.

With this goal, AINAGOC is organising a series of events to introduce the Asian Games to volunteers and to explain their roles.

These events also create a team spirit and build pride in Nagoya City and Aichi Prefecture as they prepare to welcome 10,000 athletes and 5,000 officials from the OCA’s 45 National Olympic Committees.

“Preparations for the Asian Games are steadily progressing,” AINAGOC reports.

“Many volunteers participated in a recent event. Each and every contribution is helping shape the Games.

“We sincerely appreciate your continued support,” AINAGOC told the volunteers, who are known as the “One Asia Crew” in line with the Games motto “Imagine One Asia”.
