Sanya, China, April 7, 2026: The Sanya Asian Beach Games Organising Committee will capitalize on the popularity of basketball during the ABG.
The men’s and women’s 3x3 basketball competitions will be held at the Sanya Sports Centre Gymnasium Venue (SSG) in Jiyang District and have a capacity of 6,000 seats.
Action will begin on April 25 and last for five days, ending with the two finals on the evening of April 29 – one day before the closing ceremony. There will be a total of 69 games over the two competitions.
The gymnasium, located just 5km from the Athletes’ Village, will provide one competition court and two training courts.
