Sanya, China, April 7, 2026: The 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China from April 22-30 will offer 100,000 tickets to sand and sea sports enthusiasts.
Organising committee SABGOC revealed that the 10 competition venues will provide a total of 10,000 seats, making 100,000 for the duration of the Games.
The official ticketing system for Sanya 2026 was launched on March 23, 30 days before the opening ceremony. This enabled the public to purchase tickets for competition events in advance through designated official online platforms.
Zhang Yue, head of the Ticketing Division, noted that tickets were on sale for 3×3 Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Beach Handball, Sport Climbing, Beach Soccer, Teqball, Beach Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Beach Kabaddi and Beach Athletics.
Ticket prices range from CNY 30 to CNY 200, with an average of CNY 80.
In line with the “Green Games” mandate, ticketing will be primarily digital, with e-tickets accessible on smartphones to minimise paper consumption and promote eco-friendly event management.
However, to accommodate spectators who may have difficulty using mobile devices, paper tickets will be available for purchase at on-site booths at each venue, ensuring convenient access for everyone.
To improve the spectator experience and encourage people to buy tickets in advance, SABGOC has organised a variety of exclusive benefits for ticket holders.
Throughout the Games, spectators with valid tickets can access special discounts at selected partner merchants. Moreover, those with same-day event tickets will receive free public bus transportation within Sanya's urban area.
