Kuwait City, Kuwait, April 2, 2026: The OCA will organise a webinar on Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) on Monday, April 6 (12 noon Kuwait time).
The target audience is medical staff of National Olympic Committees, members of TUE Committees of National Anti-Doping Organisations, TUE administrators and Local Organising Committee team doctors for Asian events.
The TUE webinar will be held in preparation for major OCA Games this year, namely the Asian Beach Games, Asian Games and Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, and is part of the OCA’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that both athletes and athletes' support personnel receive appropriate education.
The webinar will provide an overview of the TUE process and highlight key updates to the 2027 International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (ISTUE).
The session will be delivered by Dr. Teoh Chin Sim, a member of the WADA Expert Advisory Group on Therapeutic Use Exemptions, who will share practical insights on:

*Best practices for submitting a TUE application
*Supporting medical evidence and documentation standards
