Phnom Penh, Cambodia, April 2, 2026: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia has started to implement its strategic plan to increase the awareness of the Olympic Movement within schools across the Kingdom.
The aims of the strategic plan are to promote Olympic education, values and ideals and to educate children and the youth on the benefits of sports activities.
The NOCC will also promote a wide range of sports to attract new and young athletes and build the spirit of the Olympics within society, as well as promoting health and wellbeing in education.
Leading the initiative are the NOCC President, Dr. Thong Khon, and the NOCC Secretary General, HE Vath Chamroeun.
“Spreading the Olympic Movement promotion plan to children and young students in provinces across the country is a contribution to building human resources from early childhood and to give them the right start on their journey,” said Vath.
