March 31, 2026: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sastra Film to collaborate on a campaign supporting Cambodian athletes preparing for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.
The partnership focuses on producing documentaries and content featuring Cambodian athletes to raise awareness and gain support for the team's journey to the 2028 Olympics.
This initiative is part of a broader push to prepare athletes for the global stage, including efforts to enhance the competitiveness of sports like swimming, athletics and karate.
The agreement, signed on March 27, highlights the partnership between the Olympic movement and the private/media sector and follows a separate MoU signed by the NOCC with the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia on January 14, 2026, also aimed at supporting the 2028 Olympic team.
Sastra Film is a Cambodian media production company, involved in television production, films, music and commercials. Founded in 2015 by Bun Channimol, today Sastra Film is one of the most popular production companies in Cambodia.
