Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, March 29, 2026: Curling has become one of the most popular sports at the Asian Winter Games and Olympic Winter Games.
As a result of this, the Mongolian Curling Association organised a designated curling day to promote the sport.
Members of the National Assembly, representatives of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee Athletes Commission and the office of the National Assembly participated in the event.
Curling experts provided practical training and gave an introduction to the sport, explaining the basic rules and technical skills to the participants.
Also, a friendly competition was organised among all the participants and ended in a competitive atmosphere.
The sport of curling in Mongolia has been developing at pace since 2022 and Mongolian athletes participated in the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games for the first time.
“Thank you to the members of the National Assembly for actively participating in the friendly competition,” said Mongolia NOC President Battushig Batbold.
