Kuwait City, Kuwait, March 29, 2026: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) confirms that Ms. Albina Zhuminova of Kazakhstan has committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation during the Bahrain Asian Youth Games 2025.
The OCA has delegated responsibility for results management to the International Testing Agency (ITA), which handled the case on its behalf.
The violation followed an Adverse Analytical Finding for furosemide, a prohibited substance under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. The athlete accepted the violation and waived her right to a hearing.
Decision:
- Disqualification of all results at the Games
- Forfeiture of gold medal, points, and prizes
The case will be referred to the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) for any further action.
The OCA reaffirms its commitment to clean sport and fair competition.
