Nagoya, Japan, March 28, 2026: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) is determined to put athletes at the heart of the preparations.
As part of this policy, AINAGOC held a Joint Athletes’ Committee meeting with the Japanese Olympic Committee and Japanese Paralympic Committee
Athlete representatives from the three organisations came together to exchange views on building momentum toward the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games and Asian Para Games and on future initiatives.
At the beginning of the meeting, each committee chair delivered opening remarks, sharing their perspectives and aspirations for the success of the Games from an athlete’s point of view.
“Moving forward, we will continue to work together with athletes to widely promote the appeal and value of the Games,” AINAGOC said.
The 20th Asian Games will run from September 19 to October 4 and will be followed by the 5th Asian Para Games from October 18-24.
