Nagoya, Japan, March 27, 2026: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) has announced that a special, limited edition commemorative coin will be issued to mark the occasion.

 

Here’s what’s coming:

 

*The 20th Asian Games Commemorative 1,000 Yen Silver Coin (pure silver). Featuring a design that symbolizes the Games, this is truly a one-of-a-kind collector’s item.

 

The application period will begin on June 3 and last for approximately three weeks. Shipping is scheduled for mid-September.

 

The price is JPY 34,800 (tax included/approx. 220 USD), and only 25,000 coins will be issued.

 

“Perfect as a collectible or as a special way to show your support for the Games,” AINAGOC said.

Asian Games mascot Honohon is the centre of attention on the coin.
