Manama, Bahrain, March 26, 2026: The Bahrain Olympic Committee marked Bahraini Youth Day, celebrated annually on March 25, by proudly acknowledging the Kingdom’s young athletes.
“We are proud of the achievements of the country’s youth in the field of sports on Bahraini Youth Day,” the BOC posted on social media.
Bahrain’s young athletes were the centre of attention a few months ago when the Kingdom hosted the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Manama, and finished in a creditable 13th position in the overall medal standings winning 13 medals, including five gold medals – three in mixed martial arts and two from weightlifting.
Bahraini sports leaders stated that the goal of the Asian Youth Games was to inspire a generation of young athletes.
