Tashkent, Uzbekistan, March 25, 2026: The 2026 season of the Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan competitions was officially launched in Tashkent on Tuesday, March 24.
The leadership of the Ministry of Sport and the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan participated in the event along with officials from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as regional, city and district sports departments who followed online.
The 2026 season will be held in a new and improved three-stage system: the district and city khokim’s Olympics, the regional Olympics and the Presidential Olympics.
Competition got underway on Tuesday, March 24, within the framework of the first stage – district and city khokim’s Olympics. Young people from sports schools, general education institutions, private sports clubs and coaches are actively participating.
