Nagoya, Japan, March 23, 2026: The 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya later this year are receiving influential backing from the highest level of government in Japan.
The President of the Japanese Olympic Committee, Seiko Hashimoto, is the Chair of the Parliamentary League for Promoting Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Pictured alongside the seven-time winter and summer Olympian are Shinjiro Koizumi, Japan’s Minister of Defence, and Hideki Niwa, Secretary-General of the Parliamentary League for the Promotion of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Their support will guarantee even more interest in the build-up to the 20thAsian Games, which will take place from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
