Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, March 15, 2026: Mongolia NOC President Battushig Batbold has been re-elected head of the Olympic Movement in the country.
“Honoured to have been re-elected as President of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee at our 9th Congress with the support of 96.7% of delegates,” Battushig posted on social media.
“I am grateful for the trust of our Olympic family and look forward to continuing our work to strengthen Mongolian sport, support our athletes and expand Mongolia’s presence in the global Olympic Movement.”
The IOC Member added: “This Congress was especially meaningful as it coincided with the 70th anniversary of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee - a proud milestone in the history of our Olympic Movement.
“Thank you to the athletes, coaches, federations, partners and friends who contribute every day to the development of sport in Mongolia. Together, we continue building the future of Mongolian Olympism.”
