Manama, Bahrain, March 8, 2026: The Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee H.E. Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji welcomed the Ambassador of Cyprus to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Andreas Eliades, at the BOC headquarters on Friday, March 6.
Al-Kooheji praised the special relations between the two countries and discussions revolved around ways to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of sports, including the exchange of technical and administrative experiences, and holding joint training camps and programmes for athletes.
The Ambassador of Cyprus expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome, confirming his country’s interest in promoting sports ties with the Kingdom.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasising the importance of coordination and communication in a bid for a fruitful and sustainable sporting partnership.
