Amman, Jordan, March 4, 2026: The Jordan Olympic Committee held a Ramadan Iftar for the sports media.
Media questions were answered by the Secretary General of the JOC, Rana Al-Saeed, and the Director of the Department of Sports Associations Affairs, May Al-Nasour.
The media included members of the Jordanian Sports Media Federation, representatives of local newspapers, online websites and TV channels.
This initiative recognized the key role played by sports media in supporting the Jordanian sports movement and encouraging a framework for cooperation and partnership with various media outlets. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing bridges of communication and the sharing of experiences.
Rana Al-Saeed posted on March 3: “I was happy to be among the sports media family at Ramadan Iftar, where the talk was frank and full of revelation.
“At that moment, I recalled the memory of my father – a sports journalist who served sport faithfully and instilled in me the meaning of professionalism and dedication.”
She added that media played a big role in the development and promotion of sport, and that sport was a worthy cause.
