Bangkok, Thailand, March 3, 2026: Two members of the Lao National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) visited the Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT) recently to strengthen the fight against doping in the region.

The visit was in line with the South East Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation’s (SEARADO) ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration and support amongst National Anti-Doping Organisations.

The two visitors from Lao NADO were Mr. Sisamout Saenbouttaraj, member country representative, and Ms. Boumankham Southammavong, chief of office.

The visit focused on exploring possibilities for further support and collaboration between Lao NADO and DCAT. Key areas of discussion included Results Management (RM), Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE), Education and Intelligence & Investigations (I&I).

“A significant outcome of the meeting was the agreement by both parties to renew their Memorandum of Understanding,” SEARADO announced.

“SEARADO would like to extend our sincere thanks to DCAT for hosting and supporting Lao NADO, and to acknowledge Lao NADO’s enthusiasm and commitment to enhancing the fight against doping in the region.”
