Milan, Italy, February 16, 2026: PT Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association, met with the Secretary General of World Climbing, Piero Rebaudengo, on the sidelines of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics on Sunday, February 15.
“Happy to meet Mr. Piero Rebaudengo, Secretary General of World Climbing, to discuss strengthening collaboration and advancing the growth of sport climbing,” Usha posted on Instagram.
The IOA President added: “Looking forward to deeper cooperation, athlete development initiatives, and expanding opportunities for our climbers on the global stage.”
PT Usha arrived in Milan over the weekend after a devastating personal loss - having lost her husband Shri V. Sreenivasan.
“When your commitment to sports and your country takes precedence, nothing can stop you. As IOA President, I’m here to strengthen India towards the Olympic Movement and furthering the growth of Indian sports,” she posted.
