Japan leads Asian NOCs after eight days of medals at Milano Cortina 2026

Milan, Italy, February 15, 2026: Here are the leading standings after the eighth day of medal competition at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
 
The medal standings are correct at the close of play on Saturday, February 14, after 59 of the 116 events. The Winter Olympics run from February 6-22.
 
Japan is the best-performing Asian NOC at this time, in 10th place with three gold medals – all in snowboarding – and 15 medals in total.
Korea is 14th and Kazakhstan 15th with one gold medal apiece, while China is 19th and still waiting for a first gold.
