Cambodia NOC ex-co looks ahead to busy 2026

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, February 9, 2026: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia held an Executive Committee meeting on Monday, February 9 and looked ahead to a busy 2026.
 
The meeting was led by the President of the NOCC, H.E. Minister Dr. Thong Khon, supported by Secretary General Vath Chamroeun.
 
The ex-co meeting heard a summary report of the eighth term of business and looked forward to the ninth term from 2026-2030.
 
Members also discussed plans to organise the end-of-term congress, how to strengthen the work of the Skills Committee of the NOCC and various programmes connected with the Olympic movement in the Kingdom.
 
They also looked ahead to a busy 2026 which includes participation in three OCA events – the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China in April; the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, in September-October; and the 6th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the end of the year.
 
Cambodia is gearing up to host the OCA’s Asian Youth Games in 2031.
