Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February 2, 2026: The President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Sr (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria, has sent his best wishes to the Hindu community on the occasion of Thaipusam 2026.
In a social media post on February 1, the OCM President said: “Warmest wishes to all our Hindu friends on the blessed occasion of Thaipusam. May this sacred day inspire strength, humility and devotion as you reflect on faith and perseverance.
“In the true spirit of Olympic Values, may Thaipusam also remind us of the importance of Excellence, Respect and Friendship, uniting us beyond differences and guiding us towards harmony and mutual understanding.”
