Sanya, China, January 12, 2026: The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that the 1st World Broadcasters Meeting (WBM) for the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 will take place in Sanya, China from January 18 – 20.
The meetings will be held at the Sanya Jinghai International Holiday Hotel which will also serve as the Main Media Centre during the April 22 – 30 Games which will feature 14 sports, 15 disciplines and 63 medal events.
The main meeting will be held on January 19, followed by site inspections, including competition venues and a visit to the International Broadcast Centre.
The Sanya 2026 Asian Beach Games Organising Committee (SABGOC) will provide and cover accommodation, meals, transportation for site inspections, and airport transfers between Sanya Phoenix International Airport and the hotel for the duration of the WBM.
