Amman, Jordan, January 7, 2026: A delegation of students from the University of Virginia visited the Olympic Preparation Centre of the Jordan Olympic Committee on Sunday, January 5, as part of the university’s cultural exchange programme.
The delegation toured the centre’s various facilities, learning about the services and equipment it provides to support Jordanian national athletes and its role in preparing and helping them qualify to the highest approved standards.
The students also listened to a short introductory lecture that covered the Olympic Movement and the establishment of the Jordanian Olympic Committee, in addition to reviewing its most prominent tasks and the services it provides to develop Jordanian sports and support national federations and teams.
