Male, Maldives, December 18, 2025: The Maldives Olympic Committee and the Maldives National Institute of Sports (MNIS), in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity, successfully completed a Sport Administrator and Team Management Course last week.
A total of 32 participants attended the month-long course which focused on developing administrative competence, leadership skills, and effective team operations for national sports federations.
The Hon. Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, who graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest, acknowledged the importance of strengthening the administrative capacity within the sports sector.
Throughout the four weeks of training, participants engaged in structured sessions covering key areas like sport administration, event planning, team operations, communication, risk management, and leadership in sport.
The course also explored the essential responsibilities of team managers, equipping participants with the practical skills needed to support athletes and tea during national and international competitions.
