Nagoya, Japan, November 28, 2025: The Secretary General of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) Satoshi Murate welcomed delegates for the 2nd Technical Delegates Meeting in Nagoya.
At a welcoming reception on Thursday, November 27, Secretary General Murate in his speech thanked technical delegates from 49 disciplines who had turned up in Nagoya for an important series of meetings and venue visits for the 20th Asian Games from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
“We are now just 10 months away from the opening of the Asian Games next September. Your support and cooperation are absolutely essential for us at AINAGOC,” Murate said.
“Thank you for coming all the way to Nagoya for the second TD meeting. We truly appreciate your time and commitment. We are working hard to make the 20th Asian Games a truly memorable event, and we will continue to do everything we can to ensure its success. Please keep supporting us as we move forward together,” Murate added.
Delegates had one-on-one meetings with the organising committee, as well as visited competition venues, and hotels which will accommodate visiting athletes and officials during the Games.
