Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, November 27, 2025: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has announced a landmark partnership, appointing Skechers as the Official Footwear Partner for the Malaysian contingent to all major multi-sport Games from 2025-2028.
The partnership was launched at an event graced by Y.B Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Wira Dr. Nur Azmi Ahmad, Deputy President of OCM and chairperson of OCM Marketing and Sponsorship Committee, and Datuk Mohd Nasir Ali, OCM Secretary General among other dignitaries.
Also in attendance were Ms. Nurul Huda Abdullah, Chef de Mission of the Malaysian contingent to the 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025, and several elite national athletes.
OCM Secretary General Nasir Ali said: “This event not only marks the sponsorship of the Malaysian contingent to the 33rd SEA Games but also celebrates a significant milestone in our partnership. This long-term collaboration reflects our shared commitment to uplift Malaysian sports and to consistently support our athletes across multiple international stages.”
The partnership will cover seven major multi-sport Games:
· 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025
· 25th Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026
· 23rd Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026
· 4th Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026
· 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026
· 34th SEA Games Malaysia 2027
· 34th Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028
“We view this as a true win-win partnership. As our athletes take to the world stage at these prestigious multi-sports Games, they will also be showcasing Skechers brand to a global audience,” Nasir Ali added.
