Bangkok, Thailand, November 20, 2025: The Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand, Atthakorn Sirilathayakorn, presided over a prize money presentation to Thai athletes who achieved outstanding results from four major sporting events in 2025, including the 3rdAsian Youth Games in Bahrain.
The awards ceremony held on November 12 at Santi Maitri Building, Government House in the Thai capital, was attended by senior officials of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under Royal Patronage led by Asst. Professor Pimol Srivikorn.
Also in attendance were Thana Chaiprasit, NOC Vice President and Secretary General, other Board Members; Ms. Nathreeya Thaweewong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports; officials from the Sports Authority of Thailand; the National Sports Development Fund Executive Committee; and representatives from national sports associations, athletes, coaches and the media.
The Minister presented a total of 344,085,000 baht (US$10,584,000) in prize money to athletes, coaches and sports associations who achieved outstanding results at four international sporting events.
They were: (1) 12th World Games in Chengdu, China, (2) 32nd Summer Universiade in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, (3) 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, (4) World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany.
