Astana, Kazakhstan, November 10, 2025: The President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan Gennadiy Golovkin took part in the Olympism 365 Commission meeting held at Olympic House, Lausanne, Switzerland last week.
The meeting took place during the IOC Commissions Week and the Fit for the Future (F4F) Consultations – an initiative launched by IOC President Kirsty Coventry to modernise and strengthen collaboration across the Olympic Movement.
Golovkin joined discussions in small thematic groups focusing on key topics under the Olympism 365 framework, including athlete development, Games organisation, sustainability, sport’s role in a better world, audience engagement and sustainable financing. The format featured a series of 45-minute rotating sessions, encouraging open dialogue and exchange.
Speaking on the role of sport in social change, Golovkin emphasised sport’s power as a tool for education, health and leadership, especially for youth, refugees and vulnerable communities. He expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with international organisations, governments and civil society to achieve these shared goals.
“The modern Olympic Movement requires constant renewal and open dialogue. The Fit for the Future consultations unite expertise and perspectives from across nations to develop joint solutions for the sustainable growth of sport,” Golovkin stated.
